Become a Wii connection ambassador and get awarded Wii points
For every person you help get online with their Wii you and the person you helped will be given 500 points. Hit 10 people and you will earn your 5000 Wii Ware points. On top of this you will receive Gold Status from Nintendo. This means you can download ALL Nintendo-published NES games for free on Virtual Console. The next stage is Platinum status. This is for helping 20 people which gives you 10’000 Wii points plus Nintendos award, which is being able to download ALL NES, Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 games on Virtual Console for FREE.
This is an excellent way to get free points and free Wii Ware. The average game on Wii Ware is 1000 points. The most popular game to download is 1500 points (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King).To buy a 2000 points card from amazon is £19.99. So helping only 4 people is effectively getting £20.
How do I become a Connection Ambassador?
* Enter the Wii Shop Channel
* There is an icon on the Wii Shop Channel entitled ‘Connection Ambassador Promotion’
* Select this icon and you will be prompted by two icons: one showing that you are the Connection Ambassador (or the Helper) and the other icon showing that you are the ‘Person Who Was Helped’
* Select the Connection Ambassador icon
* You will be prompted to enter the Wii Number of the person you have helped.
* You must do this within 30 days of when the person you have helped, has registered their connectivity using your Wii Number
* Once both parties have registered, you will have received 500 Wii Points on your Wii Shop Channel Accounts to spend in the Wii Shop Channel
What do I do if a Connection Ambassador helps me connect to the Wii Shop Channel?
* Enter the Wii Shop Channel
* On the Wii Shop Channel welcome page there is an icon called ‘Connection Ambassador Promotion’
* Select this icon and you will be prompted by two icons: one showing that you are the Connection Ambassador (or the Helper) and the other icon showing that you are the ‘Person Who Was Helped’
* Select the ‘Person Who Was Helped’ icon
* You will be prompted to enter the Wii Number of the person who has helped you connect
* You must do this within 30 days of accessing the Wii Shop Channel
* You will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire
* Once both parties have registered, you will have received 500 Wii Points on your Wii Shop Channel Accounts to spend in the Wii Shop Channel

I’m a Nintendo Ambassador, so I’m happy to help people get their Wii online so you get 500 free points (enough for one retro game e.g. Pacman, original Super Mario Bros and many more to choose from!) Even if you don’t need the help, you can still get the points by following the above instructions then adding my Wii number which is 8204 5356 8089 6841 (add after clicking Wii Shop Channel, then Connection Ambassador, then ‘Person Who Was Helped’) Then email me YOUR Wii number to daniel.wood3@gmail.com, I’ll enter it on my Wii then we’ll both get the free points!
Please note, at the moment this only works in the UK I think, and you have to have put your Wii online for the first time in the last 30 days – any later than that and it won’t work!
I’m finding it hard to find to help people to connect their wii. Asking people in game in World of Warcraft and i think they all think its some kind of scam. People can be so dense! Both benefit from this promotion! It’s too good to miss!
