Wii Sports Resorts is the second game in the series and has also exceed the 1 million mark for copies sold in Japan and the USA. The new game is the first to be fully compatible with the Motion Plus Wii Remote. Nintendo have made all 12 sports within the new game have been modeled with incredible accuracy thanks to the Motion Plus.

Nintendo are hoping that the sales figures mean they have another steady selling game on their hands instead of a flash in the pan. “Combined with strong figures for Wii MotionPlus, the data suggests that more families and friends are playing together than ever before – which, for Nintendo, is a major objective.” says Laurent Fischer, Managing Director, Marketing and PR, Nintendo of Europe

The release of the new Motion Plus device for the Wii is due out soon and it looks exciting.  On the 12t of June 2009 the Motion Plus will be let loose into Europe and Nintendo will be releasing games such as Wii Sports Resort™ to make full use of its capabilities.

Motion Plus for the Wii

Wii Sports Resort™ is set for launch on 24tb of July so make sure your Wii System is fully equipped with the new device before then.  The game is the next edition to the Wii Sports game and this upgrade is meant to be a beach version of the original.

The new Motion Plus will pick up players movements and create more interactivity then ever before making it the most sensitive of controllers on the market.  The device is relitivley small and can be attached the already exsisting Wii Remote.
